Best known for his torn-paper collage works, Gores recycles magazines, maps, labels, handwriting and more in his portraits on canvas. Using these discarded materials, Gores reassembles a new picture full of captivating and unexpected details. His large works have been shown in Chicago, Miami, Sacramento and at the prestigious Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles. This summer, Gores exhibited in the UK at the London Miles Gallery, where his work was named one of ’40 important artists in the New Contemporary movement.’ Gores was honored in 2009 to be chosen as one of just fifteen artists for the Manifest Hope DC exhibit prior to the Presidential Inauguration in Washington DC.
Gores’ impressive client list includes ESPN, Madonna, Lenny Kravitz, Ke$ha, Kings of Leon, Aerosmith, The National Football League, Lucasfilm and more. Recently, Gores was commissioned by Sports And The Arts to create 6 large collages for the brand new Orlando Magic Arena. Gores is a Satellite High School product, and exhibits locally at SLOW Gallery in Melbourne.
