About the Artist

Years of glass-cutting techniques allow me to create intricate artwork that touches souls and brings smiles to people’s faces with the depiction and celebration of all aspects of life in Florida. I have developed a dimensional style as a result of carefully designed firing schedules that provide for partial melting of glass to create striking definition in my artwork.

Even after years of creating glass art, each new piece feels like a part of me, and I am honored when a collector purchases it to add it to their home or office. I enjoy creating majestic waves, whimsical alligators, and colorful parrots, experimenting with light by putting my art on small and large mirrors, and even creating elegant platters and bowls. Much of my work incorporates the light and colors of Florida, from its deep blue sky to the amazing aqua colors of its waters. I have created several distinct “galleries” of my work, including an Everglades gallery with pieces depicting Cypress Trees, Florida Panthers, alligators, and herons. Another is my Ocean Gallery, which includes my ocean bowls, majestical waves, dolphins and beach scenes. My Western Gallery was inspired by an international corporate collector and my travels to the NW, including mountain scenes like the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone Wolf and Grizzly Bowls.

My artwork has been shown full-time since 2014 in numerous nationally rated juried art shows, as well as art galleries in the coastal areas of the US. I have been honored to have been selected as the best glass artist at the Fernandina Beach Shrimp Boat Art Festival, Artist in Residence at the Delnor-Wiggins State Park and named a “Featured Artist” at the Cocoa Beach Wave Art Fest 2024.

I have also had the pleasure of working with my collectors to provide custom-designed artwork for individuals and national and international corporations.
