Festival Event Volunteers
SCAF is always looking for more people to join us in helping put on a great festival event! Many opportunities exist during the Friday setup and Saturday and Sunday of the show. Some of the types of activities are shown below but we will be more specific in the registration form. Registration to volunteer during the event will open in August 2024.

Organizational Planning
In addition to supporting the actual event, we also have volunteer needs for the planning and organizing that occurs months in advance. Below, you will find the main positions we are continuously looking to fill. Please contact us at volunteer-info@spacecoastartfestival.com if you have any questions or would like to learn more.
Treasurer
• Provide a monthly financial report
• Assist in the preparation of an annual operating budget
• Chair the finance committee
• Be responsible for all receipts, deposits & disbursements of the corporation
• Have knowledgeable use of either QuickBooks or Quicken
Festival Volunteer Coordinator
• Compile and maintain a list of volunteers (names, addresses, contact numbers)
• Determine and obtain sufficient volunteers to meet the needs of the festival
• Prepare schedules and notify volunteers
• Prepare volunteer assignment information and document time volunteered
• Handle distribution of volunteer t-shirts
Artists Breakfast Coordinator
• Oversee Artists Breakfast on Saturday & Sunday of the festival
• Recruit sufficient volunteers to prepare, distribute and clean-up
• Oversee the purchase and preparation of necessary food, paper products & serving items
Advertising and Publicity Coordinator
• Assist with the preparation of festival advertising and publicity for both in-county and out-of-county
• Work with media personnel in the selection of the best and most cost-effective venues for promoting the festival, within SCAF budget parameters
Digital Media Specialist
• Assist with the creation of advertising for both print and digital media
• Assist with the layout and design of the festival program guide
• Assist with social media management and communications
• Assist with photography/video
