About the Artist
I’m a self-taught woodworker, starting when there wasn’t yet an Internet: books were the source of most knowledge. My motivation was to add some shelves to a large loft in our new home. I bought some tools and books and set out to learn the required skills and techniques. I made many items before we left that house, including a large dining table and ten chairs, but when we moved, that loft was still empty. I started out making only functional items, but recently, I’ve started making a few items that are more ornamental.
