About the Artist
Jill Garrett has been a Melbourne resident for the past ten years, where she discovered her love for coastal art. About eight years ago, she created her first pieces using glass and resin — what she affectionately calls her “kindergarten art.”
Since then, Jill has developed a range of techniques, especially in using hand-cut glass to add texture and dimension to her paintings. For this show, she has been working on a stunning four-foot-tall heron, which will make its debut here.
Jill hopes her artwork brings a smile to every viewer’s face.
