About the Artist
Saw Palmetto Arts LLC is the fine art photography studio of Day McClanahan Goldsmith, a former biologist and lifelong naturalist from Central Florida. Day captures the untamed beauty of Florida’s endangered landscapes and candidly explores the expansion of development in her evocative black and white photography. She is dedicated to the visual storytelling of Florida’s natural areas, working lands, and historic landmarks to connect everyone with the natural beauty and rich heritage of the Sunshine State. Along with advocating for conservation through her art, a portion of all sales are donated to conservation organizations working on the frontlines in Florida.
