About the Artist
Native Floridians Shannon and Jody focus on coastal, marine, backcountry, and wildlife scenes. Their unique style blends realism with a hint of fantasy, and their preferred medium is acrylic.
Shannon comes from an artistic family—her father, Denny McGauran, was a well-known St. Lucie County watercolorist from the 1950s through the 1990s. Shannon and Jody have always loved art in its many forms, but it wasn’t until 2022 that they began exhibiting at local shows. They find the most rewarding part of their work is seeing the delight on people’s faces when they discover that perfect piece.
