About the Artist
Eric Farland, born in California in 1966 and raised in Woodside, served as a logistics specialist in the U.S. Army from 1985 to 1993, including during Desert Storm. After more than two decades in the corporate world, he returned to his high school passion for woodworking, evolving from scroll saw work to lathe turning and creating furniture, bowls, vases, sculptures, portraits, and segmented pieces. Today, he showcases his one-of-a-kind hybrid wood-and-epoxy and natural wood artworks in the Georgian Gallery in McDonough, Georgia, as well as at fine art shows across the Southeast.
