About the Artist
I dreamed of becoming a professional artist at a young age and pursued that dream until the early 2000s. I went to school for a short period with art as my focus, but for personal reasons, I turned my back on my dream. Instead, I became a CPA. In 2023, I decided it was time to fulfill my dreams. My life has taken me down so many different paths, but this current path I’m on is the best one yet! I love creating works that bring the beauty of nature to life. I love learning new techniques and playing with various mediums, as well as working on various subjects. I hope that viewers of my work have a bigger appreciation of the beauty and magic that nature gives us. I also hope my journey is a source of inspiration and proof that dreams can come true if one puts their mind to it.

“Cosmic Hope”

I’ve always loved the night sky and how beautiful the stars can be. As I was painting this, I was torn between adding a bright “wishing” star or a shooting star. The feeling I was getting when painting the dark trees, of being swallowed up by darkness, inspired me to put a shooting star. For it is in some of our darkest times that we must remember to keep our chins up and have hope.
