About the Artist
Thom Lupari has been creating art for most of his life. A self-taught artist, he began with pencil sketches before discovering oil painting in high school and took to it like a fish to water.
Throughout his career, Thom has worked on ladders and scaffolds, creating murals and frescoes for restaurants, theaters, and private homes across the United States. His strong design skills also led him to work on large-scale projects in shopping malls during the late 1970s and 1980s. His technique is marked by glazings of translucent color to create the desired effects.
Today, Thom travels the country in his motorhome, painting on canvas and experimenting with new materials and techniques. Both original paintings and prints of his work are available for purchase, and he welcomes commission requests, including custom portraits of your favorite pets.
