The Space Coast Art Festival is delighted to announce the winners of the 2025 T-Shirt Design Contest! Having received numerous submissions from students across Brevard County, this year’s contest has been an impressive show of both skill and creativity.
We’d like to give a warm thanks to the many students who dedicated time in creating pieces tailored to our beloved Space Coast. An equal thanks goes out to all teachers who aided the students in this process. Thank you for supporting your students’ artistic endeavors; you helped make this possible!
This year’s T-shirt contest has been an undoubted hit! A record-breaking 270 entries made the selection of both age group winners from each and the overall winner especially challenging. Brevard students’ ability to produce impressive artwork shines through the submissions we receive annually.
Winners from each grade level (K-6, 7-9, and 9-12) received a cash prize of $150, and $500 went to their particular schools’ art departments. Additionally, the student selected as the Grand Prize Winner will have their artwork printed on the volunteer shirts worn at the Space Coast Art Festival in November.

- 7-8 Winner: Ivanka Edammudalige, West Shore Sr/Jr High School
- K-6 Winner: Sarah Smoot, Mims Elementary School
Congratulations to the winning students! Again, the Space Coast Art Festival would like to thank all students and teachers who made the contest a great success.
In having our youth engage with their creativity through contests like these, the Space Coast Art Festival is able to foster Brevard’s artistic spirit while encouraging imagination. We are always pleased to witness the exciting art produced by both students and adults each year for our annual festival and its corresponding events.
We are looking forward to showcasing more excellent student art during the Student Art Show at the Space Coast Art Festival on November 8-9th at the Avenue, Viera. Be sure to stop by and admire what Brevard’s young artists have to offer!
