Jurying Process
Art is selected by a panel of 3 independent jurors. Each juror is reviewing 4 images in addition to the booth layout. Each artist is scored independently by the jurors, a maximum score of 10 points per juror may be given for a total of 30 points per artist. The highest scoring artists for each category are selected, number per category is determined based on the number of entries per category and total number of submissions for the show.
Awards
A total of 11 monetary awards are given. Awards are determined by an independent Judge. To be considered as a SCAF Judge, candidates must have an MFA (Master of Fine Arts) plus an incredible amount of life experience, have received numerous awards for their work, and have experience in judging art shows. We look for Judges who are knowledgeable in many different art disciplines and can give our artists a positive experience.
